SWIFT are the premium Australian manufacturer of commercial quality aluminium hull inflatable boats. SWIFT have been in the inflatable boat business for over 35 years and are in service with Police, Customs, Air Rescue Services, Coastguard and more throughout Australia. SWIFT have over 50 models available but are mainly a custom builder who can supply a vessel to suit a large range of requirements. Achilles inflatables are made exclusively from a high grade Hypalon fabric and we have been involved with these boats for over 30 years. We still see Achilles boats well in excess of 20 years old in regular use. The Highfield range of alloy hull inflatables shown below have been designed in Australia to meet our varied environment and lifestyle.
Produced using either Valmex® PVC fabrics from Mehler Texnologies of Germany or Orca Hypalon from Pennel & Flipo, both regarded as among the best available.
Valmex® boat fabrics are wear and abrasion resistant, UV and weather resistant, insensitive to high temperature conditions and dirt repellent. The PVC tubes are of a welded, not glued, construction for superior strength, air tightness and and durability.
Glued PVC seams have a history of problems in Australia and in particular tropical regions. Our workshop has seen plenty of these problems over the years and we definitely recommend quality welding as a superior product.
Hypalon fabrics are ORCA® from Pennel & Flipo in France. ORCA® fabrics are considered as the best inflatable boat fabrics. Very tough, UV and hydrocarbon resistant, ORCA® is the best option for frequently used boats and a must in tropical areas. Unlike PVC, Hypalon glued seams present excellent ageing when glued properly using suitable 2-part polychloroprene adhesive.
The rigid hulls are a craftsman built high tensile alloy, zinc chromated & powder coated in house.

Ultra Lite:
Ranging in size from 2.2 up to 3.4m the Ultra Lite range features a single skin floor, moulded plastic seat with storage bag & cushion, rub strake, lift & tow points, grab & carry handles, oars, repair kit. Transom bracing on 290 upwards.

Classic:
Flat floor, moulded plastic seat with padded seat bag, heavy duty rub strake, lift & tow points, grab & carry handles, transom bracing, 2.6 - 3.8m boats have a ventilated bow locker big enough to hold a 25L fuel tank. 4.2 & 4.6 Classic have an fitted underfloor 40L tank. Also available with a rear seat and forward controls (CL310- 380) and as a GT model with console, rear seat and passenger seat (pictured). The 420 & 460 can be configured with a variety of seating and console arrangements.

The Sport range has been 9 years in the making. This range of high quality boats will offer a choice from 3 metres up to 9 metres and combines all of our hull design expertise with an interior that you demand. Nothing has been sacrificed in the design of this range. Top quality materials are the hallmark of what we do and we have not compromised.
Hull deadrise angles ranging from 20 degrees on the 3.0 metre going through to a huge 26 degrees on the 650 and up will give you assurance in the toughest conditions but the additions such as EVA teak throughout, integrated fuel tanks, superb diamond stitched upholstery and bathing platforms on our larger models will allow you to enjoy each day to the maximum.
With the impermeable qualities of our aluminium hulls there’s no need to worry about gelcoat chips, or putting the boat on a beach or trailer.
All Highfield Sport RIBs are easy to tow, launch and recover due to their light weight and integrated davit lifting eyes. Your Sport will not delaminate or absorb water over time, retaining the same agile performance in 10 years time as the day you collected it.

Patrol:
The Patrol range of commercial quality RIBs are designed to work both excellently as a long distance family cruiser or a hardcore work boat. Built to withstand the toughest of conditions.
The hull is built from 5083 aluminium plates with 6 and 10mm stringers. With their super deep V, wide chines and large diameter tube, they offer high manoeuvrability, high safety and a soft dry ride even in the roughest conditions.
The range offers something for almost every requirement, from Sailing club support to Police and Rescue applications.
The Patrol boats carry large loads and plane quickly and easily with little horse-power. For charter boat and commercial operators, the modular set-up option means that we can build a layout that suits your needs. These boats are ideal pursuit craft or work boats and can be configured with different seating and console options. When safety, toughness & reliability really matter, the Patrol range should be your first port of call.

Roll-Up:
Highfield also produce a small range of soft hull boats from 2.0m - 3.2m, all of which feature a powder coated aluminium transom. Two model types are available, Alloy Floorboards and Air Mat Floor.
